| We engineer integrity, perfection and trust into every product we make, every service we offer and every customer we serve. |
Back in 1979, Bernie Casamento and Bob Rutherford decided to use some of their former experience to create a new company. They would name the new entity GBSA and they’d be involved in the distribution of V-Seals.
Their enterprise grew quickly and soon they were offering oil seals, o-rings, molded rubber products, machined and stamped metal, plastics, ceramics and, most recently, parts made from liquid silicone for medical equipment.
To expand their facility, GBSA moved from its Mentor location to the new headquarters in Chardon, Ohio. With the extra space, they expanded their engineering department, incorporated a Just-In-Time Inventory Management System and added a “Kitting” operation, all to enhance customer satisfaction.
GBSA is a supplier that consistently exceeds customer expectations with a robust and comprehensive system for quality. We are innovators who rely on a systematic and creative improvement to products, services and processes.
We are flexible to customer requests and respond with a sense of urgency that all deadlines are met in a timely manner. And, it’s our job to implement productivity improvements to reduce the total cost of procurement.
In short, we engineer integrity, perfection and trust into every product we make, every service we offer and every customer we serve.
Company Biographies
Kris works hard with all new prospects in the US. He's the guy that takes a prospect and turns him into a customer. Kris engages with management, engineering and even shipping to make sure the customer gets what he wants, when he wants it ALL at a fair price. Kris is also responsible for developing a marketing plan and following up on its implementation. Kris graduated from the University of Toledo in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. He lives with his wife and young son in Euclid, OH. |
Within his territory, Cameron is responsible for helping customers and prospects realize the extent to which GBSA can be involved in nearly any application. That means sales, sales and more sales. “We have so much to offer from prototyping to engineering, to formulation of rubber compounds, our “matching” process and the best in Global assembly… it's mind-boggling,” says Cameron. Cameron has a 1981 Bachelor Of Science from Ashland College in Ohio. He lives with his wife in Painesville, OH. |
Eric is an outstanding engineer. But when GBSA hired him, they liked him for his testing ability and detailed reports. See, Eric worked in the aerospace industry for years and he knows his “documentation”. And testing is a big part of what Eric does. You see, GBSA has to be certain that each product works as it should, in a given time frame, in its unique application. Eric is a 1993 Industrial Engineering graduate of Wichita State in Wichita, Kansas. He lives in Willoughby, OH. |
